Psychotherapy
Often in our lives we feel that we are "on the threshold", or "on the verge" of some great change, or feel the need to make a change in our lives without quite knowing how or why or when. Sometimes we question feelings of certainty for fear they will later be revealed as false positives, or doubt that we have the ability to effectuate change in our lives.
We are all, each of us, beings of light, divine and magnificent in our own right. Each of us has the potential to heal and be healed, to be complete and done with old energies and patterns that no longer serve us.
Through a gradual process of dialogue, combined with Energy Healing (see previous), Joanne will guide the individual to that threshold and beyond, to a place of realization and healing that will have a lasting change in their lives.
Energy Healing
As human beings we are fundamentally beings of energy: our thoughts and actions are carried by electrical impulses through nerves and muscles, our physical being is powered by the energy of mitochondria in each of our cells. And all of these processes in our physical and emotional bodies are connected by subtler forms of energy which run through our etheric body, as embodied in our chakras, our energy meridians, our flow of chi, our essential life force.
In healing circles as in metaphysics, there is a saying: "As above, so below." All that manifests in the emotional and physical body is mirrored in our etheric body. Shifting energies and unblocking energy in the etheric, which may lie as a result of trauma or past life karma, may provoke enormously powerful healing that, like ripples in a pond spreading out from a single drop of water, can have an enormous healing impact on our lives.
Joanne uses the energetic modalities of Healing Touch™, Therapeutic Touch™, Toning, Breathwork, BEAM™ Therapy and Clairsentient Mediumship to heal and guide the individual on their life's journey.
Rights of Passage
Baptisms/Dedication Ceremonies
This is a ceremony to welcome and dedicate a new child to a family, a clan, a community. Together with the parents or guardians, Joanne will lovingly create a lasting memory for family and child. One that impresses upon the child at a very early age the truth of love, thought and tenderness gifted in this ceremony.
Weddings/Commitment Ceremonies
This is a ritual of celebration that heralds the bringing together of two people in love and joy. With the sharing of the couple's dreams and intentions for their future together, Joanne creates a ceremony commemorating the momentous occasion that is this affirmation of joyous union, touching the hearts of all who come to bear witness.
Funerals/Celebrations of Life
When our loved ones have made the transition we are often left feeling frightened, sad and alone. Joanne helps us see the sacredness, beauty and joy in the passing of those who have touched our hearts, that they may live on forever more in our memory undimmed.
